Power in Jesus Name

Power in Jesus Name
by Judy Hitson

John 20:31 NLT But these things are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in him you will have life by the power of his name.

Amazing is the revelation and understanding to know and experience power in the name of Jesus.

Do you practice your faith with power in the name of Jesus?

Consider Phil.2 especially verses 9-11 as written here from the New Living Translation:

Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Come on Church!

Let us believe and live by the power of His name, knowing Him as our Lord and our God who will come again as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Let us be good soldiers of Jesus Christ. We will endure suffering but He is worthy.

Let us be God’s army rising up to break every chain of bondage.

Let us walk in victory in Jesus, experiencing freedom as He intended for us, to live on earth as it is in heaven.

Consider the song, “Break Every Chain – There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain.”
This was originally written and recorded by Will Reagan in 2009 and later recorded by Tasha Cobb and Jesus Culture. Perhaps you have also heard it sung by other artists.

Bottom line is to rise up with the army of God to break every chain in the name of Jesus. Let us not be silent but make declarations in the name of Jesus and not fear persecution or suffering. He is coming again. Let us prepare and be ready for Him, Jesus Christ, whose name is above all other names.

Prayer: Father in heaven anoint us by Your Holy Spirit to break every chain by the power in the name of Jesus in our own lives and in the lives of others who hunger for You. Amen.

  1. Let us walk with Him;
May His power and might infill us as we march into battles of this world! Amen!

  2. But thanks be to God, who always leads us in His triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. 2nd Cor. 2:14
